CalcBooth’s concrete calculators turn slab, footing and column dimensions into the numbers you actually order with. The concrete calculator finds the volume in cubic yards and cubic feet and tells you how many 40, 60 or 80 lb bags it takes — or how much ready-mix to order. The concrete bags calculator focuses on the bag count for a job, the cost calculator prices a pour by the yard including delivery and short-load fees, and the dry-pour calculator sizes bags for the pour-and-soak method. Each tool adds a waste allowance and shows the formula it uses, so you can compare bagging it yourself against a ready-mix truck before you buy. Concrete figures are planning estimates — confirm exact quantities and pricing with your supplier before you order.

Which calculator do I need?

CalculatorWhat it works out
Concrete Calculator Calculate how much concrete you need for a slab, footing or column — enter your dimensions to get the volume in cubic yards, the number of 40, 60 or 80 lb bags, and an estimated cost.
Concrete Cost Calculator Estimate what a concrete pour will cost — enter the cubic yards (or slab dimensions), price per yard, delivery and any short-load fee to get a low-to-high total and the cost per cubic foot.
Concrete Bags Calculator Find how many bags of concrete you need — enter your slab, footing or column dimensions and the bag size to get the bag count for 40, 60 and 80 lb bags, plus an estimated cost.
Dry Pour Concrete Calculator Size a dry-pour (pour-and-soak) concrete slab — enter your slab dimensions to get the number of 40, 60 or 80 lb bags you need to spread dry and then wet, plus an estimated cost.
Rebar Calculator Plan the rebar grid for a concrete slab - enter the slab size and grid spacing to get the bars each way, total lineal feet with lap splices, the 20 ft sticks to buy and the chairs to support them.
Mortar Calculator Work out how many bags of mortar you need - enter your wall size and whether you are laying block or brick to get the unit count and the 80 lb mortar bags, based on manufacturer yields.

How these estimates are built

Every calculator in this category publishes the formula it runs, the constants it assumes, a worked example you can reproduce by hand, and the standard or manufacturer data sheet each constant comes from. Quantities include an adjustable waste allowance and round up to whole units, because you cannot buy part of a bag or box.

United States — national average Prices as of 2026

Cost figures are national US ranges and are material-only unless a calculator says "installed", so they exclude tax, permits and local labour rates. These are planning estimates, not quotes — read the full calculation methodology for what they cover, and the disclaimer for the structural and HVAC limits that apply.
